This beautiful rag rug is the result of a cooperation with River Rugs in Australia. We share the same passion – to make high-quality, long-lasting products.Each rug is handmade through and through. From cutting the denim strips to weaving on wooden floor looms – a knowledge handed down for generations – to the final touches with attaching the edge bindings and the labels.The weave has a diagonal ribbing pattern reminding of a denim twill. Making one rug requires approximately 40 pairs of old jeans.It’s so satisfying to see how they’ve been given a new life, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of genuine craftsmanship and fading indigo for many more years.
